Pal Joey
Music by Richard Rodgers; Lyrics by Lorenz Hart; Book by John O'Hara
September 15 - October 2, 2005
Joey is an opportunistic cad, but he always seems to land on his feet. He elbows his way into a job at a seedy Chicago nightclub and is soon juggling the affections of a naive shop girl and a wealthy society dame who just happens to be married. In 1940, this popular musical opened on Broadway and launched hits like "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered" and "I Could Write a Book" and in 1957 became a box office smash, starring Frank Sinatra and Rita Hayworth.
