I Have Before Me A Remarkable Document Given To Me By A Young Lady From Rwanda

"The play bears witness to a brutal genocide ...But it also serves as a testament to the strength of the human spirit, the healing power of the written word, and the value of individual acts of kindness."_ The Boston Globe

"Owen Doyle brings an appropriate mix of modesty and condescension to the troubled poet...And Dorcas Evelene Davis is wonderful as Juliette, her natural exuberance and pent-up anger and anguish as infectious as the rhythms of her accent." _Boston Phoenix

"Rwanda is simply too good to pass up." _ Stoneham Independant

By Sonja Linden

April 5 - 22, 2007**

In this beautiful story of loss and hope, Juliette, a young survivor of the Rwandan genocide, and Simon, a failing middle-aged British writer, form an unlikely relationship when she seeks out his help to write about her experiences. Together they embark on a touching journey where each helps the other reconnect to the world around them. Based on the author's experiences working with survivors of the Rwandan genocide, Ms. Linden's play is a uniquely moving theatrical experience.
