Studs Terkel won the Pulitzer Prize by preserving the individual voices affected in ways big and small by World War II. Combined with nostalgic songs and popular dancing from the era, The Good War becomes an uplifting document of The Greatest Generation during their finest hour. Featuring classic songs such as "I'll Be With You In Apple Blossom Time," "Straighten Up and Fly Right," "Uncle Sam Blues," "I'll Be Seeing You," and "Moonlight Serenade."

Our Oral History Project
When we announced our production of The Good War, we started hearing about local veterans of WWII who had stories of their own to share. Pay What You Can: Thursday September 10th, 7:30pm
Everyone should have the opportunity to experience live theatre. In an effort to bring the excitement of live theatre to more of our community, Stoneham Theatre is proud to offer "Pay What You Can." One hour prior to the first Thursday performance of each mainstage production, tickets to that performance will be sold on a "Pay What You Can" basis. Just come to the theatre, bring correct change in cash, and tell us how many tickets you'd like (maximum of 6 per order and no groups, please). This offer may not be combined with any other offers.
